Since 2019, Defence Shed Wagga Wagga has been a place to drop the pack. Inspired by the Men’s Shed movement but built for the whole family, we are a grassroots community for current and former ADF members, first responders, and the people who stand by them. We’re here to help you bridge the gap between service and civilian life, one project at a time

Real Connection

Post-service life can be isolating. We’re here to counter that by filling the gaps with genuine peer support. Whether it’s a coffee catch-up, building a bird/possum box, making a metal sculpture, or coming to the monthly dinner, we provide a space to socialise with people who get it.

Skills for the "Shed Floor" and Beyond

Our workshop isn't just about tinkering. We also partner with TAFE NSW and local trainers to offer everything from accredited welding and woodwork courses to 3D printing and barista courses. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby or a pathway to employment, you can gain accredited skills in a low-pressure environment, keep an eye out for our training sessions.
