3D Printing Course at Defence Shed

This practical course runs over 6 weeks block on Tuesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and introduces participants to the exciting world of 3D printing and digital fabrication.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of 3D printing technology, including how 3D printers work, printer setup and operation, materials and filament types, basic troubleshooting, preparing files for printing, slicing and of course the printing itself. The course will also provide an introduction to 3D design concepts and the process of turning an idea into a printable file.

Through hands-on learning, participants will gain experience operating a 3D printer and develop and the confidence to create their own projects for home, hobbies, workshop applications, repairs, prototyping, and creative pursuits.

No previous experience is required, making this course suitable for beginners and anyone interested in learning a practical new skill.
